Mass beer week

MARCH 7-14, 2026
#MASSBEERWEEK returns to celebrate local craft beer

Mass Beer Week is a statewide celebration of the incredible craft beer brewed right here in Massachusetts. For one full week, breweries across the Commonwealth come together to showcase their beer, welcome new customers, and drive traffic and tourism to their taprooms and communities.

Participation is simple—and flexible. Host one event or a full slate throughout the week. The only requirement? All events must feature beer brewed in Massachusetts.

How to Participate:

Host a Beer & Food Experience - Create a memorable pairing event that highlights how beer elevates food. Ideas include:

  • A multi-course dinner, cheese pairing, or chocolate tasting

  • A guided tasting or brewery tour with the brewer

  • A collaborative event with a local restaurant or food truck

No kitchen? No problem. Partner with a local food business to create meal kits that can be:

  • Picked up and enjoyed in your taproom with a guided flight

  • Taken home alongside a mixed 4-pack for a DIY pairing experience

Give attendees tips they can use at home and help them see beer as a true culinary companion.

Host an Educational or Tasting Event

Invite your customers to learn more about what’s in their glass. Consider:

  • A special beer release with a beerside chat

  • A guided tasting or style spotlight

  • A panel or talk with your brewer, maltster, or hop grower

  • Topics like glassware and pouring the perfect pint, cooking with beer, or the history of your brewery

Educational events are a great way to engage both seasoned beer fans and curious newcomers.

Brew a Collaboration Beer

Beer is better brewed together. Team up with another Massachusetts brewery—nearby or across the state—to release a collaborative beer during Mass Beer Week. Collaboration brews are a powerful way to cross-promote, tell a shared story, and celebrate the strength of our brewing community.

Help Spread the Word

Once your event is live:

  • Use the Mass Brewers Guild social media toolkit

  • Tag your posts with #MassBeerWeek and #DrinkMassMadeBeer

  • Post your event on Facebook and add “Mass Beer Week” as a co-host

Adding Mass Beer Week as a co-host ensures your event automatically appears on the official Mass Beer Week event calendar.

Be Creative. Have Fun.

Mass Beer Week is about celebrating local beer in ways that feel authentic to your brewery and community. Whether it’s intimate, educational, festive, or collaborative—if it highlights Massachusetts beer, it belongs here.

Cheers to another great Mass Beer Week 🍻
